Well the first clash of
the states has taken place and it was one hell of a
contest. On this page you will find the stats of the
games as well as write ups of the events from different
clan members and finally video links to the games from 2

enjoy. This was great. Oh and one more thing incase
you were wondering the trophy is on the MO side
currently because WE WON!!!!!

The whole idea for this event was
originally thought up by Doc P. The idea was simple,
instead of playing an outside clan challenge Doc
suggested that we play against ourselves. But how would
we make it more interesting? We should make it a turf
match. Because about half of our clan resides in
Missouri and half of our clan resides in Oklahoma we
should make those be the teams.
Since the teams were decided we just
needed to decide what to play and when. The what was
decided by a series of Polls in our polls forum.
The when was decided by a majority of us just being
online on Monday night. So at 10 PM on January 16th the
first MO versus OK event took place.
The first match was oddball on
Lockout. It was a very close game. It went back and
forth several times and in the end team Missouri won by
only 13 seconds!!
The second match was a major upset.
It was 1 flag CTF on Zanzibar. Team Missouri were
pretty confident in their objective game skill. They
were very wrong to do so. Team Oklahoma obliterated
their competition by shutting out team Missouri 1 to 0.
The third and final match was epic.
It was a game of team slayer on Lockout to 100. The
first half of the game team OK dominated again. In fact
if the game would have ended at 50 (like some of team
Oklahoma thought it was going to) team Missouri would
have only had 35 kills. However the game did not end
there it went to 100. The Missouri team managed to
rally and with the help of Steve TALL's killtrocity they
came back and won by a mere 7 kills!!
They were all good games and I think
everyone had a great deal of fun. (Except crazy
competitive Compton. Although in hindsight he really
enjoyed it.) This is most likely not the last of this
epic challenge. We will see how long team Oklahoma can
stand to see the trophy in the hands of Team Missouri.
This challenge really brought out the best skill in

Well what can I say these games were nuts. At the time
I was crazy pissed because I am so damn competitive, but
now that I am not actually participating I can honestly
say it was really fun. I really appreciate it now going
back and creating a page like this one. I really hope
that everyone who participated does a little write up.
It doesn't have to be crazy long. But I want to have
all of our thoughts down if possible.
In the first game (oddball on lockout) I thought we
were gonna win right off the bat because of Steve's
uncanny oddball skill and the fact that the first 15
seconds of lag were in our favor. But when the Oklahoma
guys setup on the BR tower they racked up a bunch of
time. Is was frantic as hell. There were people every
where. After the score tied again I didn't know who was
going to win until the end. It was hilarious when Jamin
betrayed me after I beat down the sword guy. It was
also great when I got the triple at the end with Doc's
sword. Thanks for that Doc. j/k.
The second game was a complete surprise to me. I was
not expecting an ass beating that bad. The first
offensive round when I went to invis Cozmo was already
there. It was like he knew I was going to be going
there or something.... damn article. LOL. Every time I
was in the base there were people everywhere. I mean it
was like every time I got close to the flag a roach
motel exploded. I really loved meleeing Poops in the
back in the second round. I didn't really enjoy getting
screwed over like 2 seconds later though. Damn Cozmo
had my number. The third round where Poops was looking
for me was pretty damn funny too. We had quite the
stand off going to, until he had to get his little
friend to come help him out. I got to give you guys
credit for kicking our asses though. Nice job.
The final game I thought we were screwed. I started
off the game by taking a sniper round to the face, and
things didn't really improve from there. I did horrible
for the rest of the game. I didn't think I was ever
going to get a BR. Thank god it was to 100. I wasn't
around Steve for his killtrocity so I didn't know he was
unleashing hell until I checked the score again. Steve
was in last for three fourths of the game and then he
found his long lost lover, the sniper rifle. Damn that
was a close game. I think this challenge was great. We
are going to have to do it again sometime soon.
Oh and one more thing Go Missouri O7AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oddball:
Not really the pace I expected for this game, not to
brag, but i honestly thought we would run away with it
early and never look back. Obviously, not the way it
went. After building a comfortable lead of around 40
seconds, we coughed up the ball to team OK, and from
there they positioned nicely in the BR tower, and
managed to take the lead. The lead changed I believe
once or twice more, before we managed to get set up and
then we took game one, whew.
1 flag ctf:
Ok, first off I expected to lose this one. For some
reason, we start screwing around every time in this
level, and I don't know if we get bored or what, but 5
of the 6 of us on defense left the base, this is the
reason we lost this match. Ok, back to the game, I
thought we would at least score once, but Team OK's D
was impenetrable. We couldn't do anything, and I think
we lost confidence after not scoring, oh well kudos to
them, they earned this win.
Team Slayer:
Well I'd be lying if I didn't say that I thought we
would win this. I'm not saying I was overly confident,
but I think when it comes to just plain killing, we had
the upper hand. Well my friends, when I looked at the
score at it was 47 - 30 in favor of Team OK, and our
faithless leader Steve (halo God) with zero kills, I
started to worry a little. Thanks to Nomar bringing him
some spinach in due time, he managed to go on a crazy
spree, including a Killtrocity, and we made one of the
biggest comebacks ever. That was not only exhausting,
but exhilarating. I can't wait for the next showdown!

I was amazing and
everyone else did okay. Completely surprised to win
zanzibar, but with my mad skills anything can happen.
Just for the record, both games we lost were not my
fault. I was eating a bad protein bar the first game and
was mad that it was outdated and the last game I ate the
sticker on my apple which through me off. All in all in
it was good shit and I definitely think we should do it
again and again and again every week. Oh and good job to
the Missouri team. Yall won the warm up game which
everyone knows doesn't count, so technically we are
tied.

So beating Cozmo and Nomar to the Punch
here is a li'l write up.
Slayer
Shenanigans
Yeah i have to admit that when we had 43 I went after
yall like a fat kid does a buffet. Not caring who or
what fingers get in the way or what harms comes to
myself cause MO had 25 kills. I swear I saw 50 when the
game started in the pre game lobby. We should have
specified but ultimately I guess it really falls on us
because of the bar at the right hand bottom corner.
Knowing my luck I won't even make it into Steve's
montage being part of the Killtrocity that he spanked us
with like a red headed step child.
1337 Number's
Moments
My favorite part of the night had to be that Dad guy got
into our room and chewed his kid out. There is nothing
more awkward when you were at your buddy's house and his
parents tear him a new one. Compton had to roll out on
Numbers. Then Nomar had to go and smart off in the quiet
that followed, "so we can say what ever we want about
Number?". Good thing my mike was unplugged and Siege
started to laugh and pulled his out in time. Just
kidding Compton I would never seriously relate you and
Numbers as Kin.
Nomar
Funny but wears on you after extended exposure.
DocP... I
underestimate his sneakyness.
I swear I'm gonna take a day and play team skirmish or
Big Gay battle with this sneaky little bastid. I go in
kill a guy and take myself out with a another in a
Cowboy blaze of 1500 rounds a minute glory and as I'm
muttering bullshit during respawn my view switches to
our li'l DocP running away with the flag. Here's to
Objective P.
To all that were on good games and I can't wait till the
next match.

Steve TALL more like SteveTROCITY
It was
a dark night. A VERY DARK NIGHT. SO DARK ALL YOU COULD
SEE WAS BLACK. THE BLACKNESS OF STEVE TALLS HEART AS HE
SLAUGHTERED HIS TEAMMATES IN COLD BLOOD. I tried to stop
him but the sun was in my eyes. He killed me with his
left pinkie finger and then move on to my poor helpless
teammates. One then the other then the other. Until
everyone was dead.........................Silence falls
over the outpost at lockout mountain. All you hear is
the sharpening of Steve TALL’S sword on the bones of his
victims. He truly is SteveTall "God of Halo, and hero of
the children. A man of steel with a passion for slaying
his enemies." But we found an ancient document
containing the full meaning of steves name. It is
actually "God of Halo, and hero of the children.
Protector of Numbers virginity. A man of steel with a
passion for slaying his enemies."
Ok anyways
The first match was played exactly like it was suppose
to. I can’t believe we got as close as we did. What was
it like 13 sec.
Zanzibar was surprising. I ran an old Strat I use to do
back in the day when skirmish was KING. Driving the wart
hog and timing it where it his the fall and flings you
into the base I got the flag out in less than 30
allowing the teammates to do most of the work. I really
didn’t do much the whole game after that. Kind of
disappointed.
Lockout
was unexpected. I didn’t see the total ownage of MO in
the beginning and REALLY didn’t see the 15 kill comeback
after our dumbasses realized we hadn’t won. Honestly I
didn’t know but it should not have mattered. In my own
arrogance I stopped playing for a good 60 seconds to
tell my roommate that we had won and came back to a 52
40 something game. Well that’s out fault and should take
nothing away from the victory of MO led by the reign of
death of Steve Tall. Everyone played great, except for
me. I really had some awful games. I couldn’t lock it
up. O well GG guys GG.

Team Ball Lockout:
To be honest, I figured we had no shot with the chiggin
ball master on the other side, also Lockout is a map
with intricate strategies. I have played many games with
the Missouri guys and they know that map inside-out. I
vowed to stay away from the ball and just provide
support, I have a tendency to pick it up and carry it to
the other team. It is part of the "tunnel vision" I
suffer from. The plan worked for the most part, and we
somehow came back and took the lead for a while, thanks
to some luck breaks and some nice team play at the snipe
tower. Towards the end, the blue team had the ball in
the middle with little time left and I saw the sword
laying there. It was calling to me like a voice in the
night. I picked it up and proceeded blindly towards the
ball carrier. Then Compton came up behind me, and lets
just say I "gave" him the sword. I saw his video and
what he did with it in the next few seconds pretty much
sealed our fate.
1 Flag CTF Zanzibar:
When I think of Halo 2 Multiplayer, I think of this map.
I like the options this map offers for entering the
base. There is no way that the defensive team can cover
all of the entry points. I am not used to playing this
map with this many people though. When we start off on
defense, Cowboy opts to steal my shotgun and NOT dual
wield (Halo hell must be freezing over). Three words
describe our defense - "disorganized, yet effective."
Luckily the MO team was equally disorganized on offense.
On offense, without Shingy, Cozmo was left alone in the
hog. I felt sorry for him so I hopped in for the ride. I
liked his rush strategy. On my second shot I got the
flag and I don't know how I made it out. Looking at the
captures it looked like I was running the gauntlet. My
15 minutes, OK wins 1-0.
Team Slayer 100
I pretty much tried to lay low here, knowing team MO's
mastery of the map. We were up big in the early stages
of the contest. Then Team MO started their comeback. I
heard someone say "Steve has snipe" and I knew it was
going to get close. I heard shot after shot seeing the "Horey
Bloben sniped ..." and "... sniped by Horey Bloben." I
spent the rest of the matchup pretty much running from
Compton, who I swear was bee lining for me any chance he
could get. Watch the video, on a few instances he came
up on me rolling with Jonny or Poops and singled me out
like a lion does the sickly gazelle. Team OK suffers a
KU type fallout to Team MO, getting destroyed after a
victory was imminent.
All in all the match up lived up to the hype and I look
forward to doing it again.

The first game was one that i felt we had
to win. Even with the absence of shingy, Oklahoma is the
state where most of our best killers live. So i felt
that if we were going to win we might have to do it in
the objective games, and avoid the last slayer
tiebreaker. But i felt it was possible for us to win
both of the first two if we used teamwork as much as i
thought we could. Because where Missouri lacked in
killing ability, we could make up for with smart play
and good communication.
The first minute of oddball was pretty
crazy. Oddball on lockout with 12 people is nuts because
everybody is always streaming towards one place on the
map. Even with the insanity we held it fairly
consistently and gained more than a 1 minute lead by
holding it in the BR tower and fighting off the OK
attackers. At that point i figured it was in the bag,
but eventually we just couldn't hold off the onslaught
and they got the ball away from us. They moved it back
to the BR tower and set up. We kept running towards them
with smgs only to get picked apart by the BRs. They held
it for over a minute straight to take a small lead
before we finally got to them. From there it was a
clusterfuck at the respawn point. The ball kept falling
off the level and the two teams would meet above the
glass and fight over it. We eked out a 25 second lead
and all we needed was 10 more, but those last ten were
ridiculously long. OK kept grabbing it and jumping off,
only to have more guys at the respawn to pick it up.
They got within 3 seconds before we finally got our last
ten.
The first game was intense and it took
all we could muster to win it. It went downhill from
there, though. In the second game we started on offense
and couldn't do much. They knew all our usual routes and
they clogged em'. Compton was ambushed at invis, i was
killed by a turret trying to get the froman snipe, and
we didn't have any luck up the middle. The only time we
touched it, it went gateside, and that is usually a
death sentence for the offense because of the open area
back to score. Defense didn't go much better. Im not
sure who grabbed rocks but whoever it was didn't respond
to the quick rush and before we knew it, the flag was on
its way back to score. Before we could figure out what
went wrong the flag was capped and we were back on
offense. But we didn't adjust, we might have done worse
the second time around. We didn't coordinate, we didn't
communicate, and we didn't move the flag. Nobody even
took the seawall snipe on our first rush. The last
defense was sloppy, too. I saw numbers take rockets and
go to froman with it (that might have been what happened
the first round), but it was pointless to say anything
because that game was over anyway. It was the most
lopsided of all three games.
After the zanzibar game, spirits were
low. We now were starting the game we felt we had the
least chance of winning and we were coming off a bad
loss. The start of the game reflected that. We started
in the BR tower and we couldn't move. The combo of Poops
sniping us from the snipe tower and a bunch of BR guys
at lift meant that we were stuck. Before we could get
out of that they had a 10 point lead at 25 kills. I
don't know what my deal was but i just could function
for the first part of that game. I was all twitchy.
I couldn't throw nades where i wanted them and i was
missing jumps that i make every day. I fell of the map
twice in a row and that lowered my score to zero. I was
about ready to quit. But then MO finally fought its way
to the snipe tower. We were down by 15 but we were
finally in a good spot to get some weapons. We had snipe
and sword and we could control things from here. The
lead slowly lessened. I was protecting lower snipe while
Nomar was sniping up top with a sword as backup. Then OK
threw enough nades to blow the shit out of Nomar and the
weapons went flying across the map. I (like a parent
after a child) ran out into the open after them. I
managed to grab them and stay alive long enough to use
up the snipe ammo, but i lost the sword to OK. I
respawned in the snipe tower and look across the level
and here comes Cozmo with the sword lunging at me. I
managed to dodge out of the way and we had enough people
in there to take him down. I grabbed the sword and found
the snipe respawned. I picked off a guy at BR tower and
sworded another jumping in. Then i picked off another at
BR. "Triple kill". I now began the frantic look for more
enemies. Cozmo respawned at lift and i shot him in the
face "Killtacular". Jonny came up the lift with no
shields followed by Compton "Kill frenzy". Then Wes 10
popped out from where he was hiding to hit Compton in
the back "Killtrocity". Easiest killtrocity ever. "Tied
the Leader". It was now tied at 67. We had amassed an
huge comebck and we still had control of the weapons.
Things were looking up. For the next minute it must have
said "tied the leader like 10 times. It was still tied
at 81. Compton was controlling the lift area and we
still had the sniper tower when the snipe spawned again
and then we pulled to a 3 point lead. I got another
Killtacular and we continued controlling the map and
we were up 95-87. Eventually we won 100-93.
Missouri won but it really couldn't
have been more close. If we were going to 150, OK
probably would have won. It was that even. Its amazing
how equal the teams were. I guess all that
playing together has really made us that much alike. It
was a fantastic three games and they couldn't have gone
better. I wasn't sure at first, but Doc had a great idea
to do this and we should definitely do it again. But
for now MISSOURI IS THE O7AH KING!!!!!
