Below you will find brief descriptions of the games along with the links to the Bungie.net stats.

Game 1: 1 Flag CTF on Terminal.

   Game Stats

Terminal 1 flag is what O7AH does best so the fact that we struggled definitely was not a good sign.  The problem was not really getting the flag out of the base.  The problem came down to getting it from under the tracks back to the base.  In both instances the 3 BR's that the offensive team gets were taken from them and the defensive team held.  Both teams only scored one time.  Other then that we were at the mercy of Kingpin's Sniper Rifle with his 19 head shots and 13 snipes.  If we tied our own choice of games what was going to happen in the games they chose?

Final Score: Junkies 1 O7AH 1.  Tie Game..

Game 2:  Lowball On Lockout.

  Game Stats

The second game was lowball on Lockout.  Junkies went about gathering up time like it was just another day at the office.  They overwhelmed us at every turn.  At one point we had the ball at the bottom of Snipe Tower and our whole team was setup there to defend and the Junkies just came pouring in.  They were an unyielding force that refused to be deterred.  Their bursts found their way to our heads an astounding 101 times as apposed to our 67.  As it turns out it is hard to help your team out if you have bullets spilling into your brain.  The junkies got all 7 of their guys 30 seconds in the time that we took to get 30 seconds to 3 of our members.  Great job Junkies.

Final Score:  O7AH 3 members with :30 Junkies 7 members with :30.   Junkies Win.

Game 3:  1 Flag CTF on Zanzibar.

  Game Stats

Overall this was a fairly close game.  In the first round the Junkies got to Froman Snipe before us.  We knew right then that we were screwed if they got the flag out of the base.  Well they nickel and dimed their way about it but they got the flag out of the base and there was simply nothing we could do to get to it.  On both of our offensive runs we just could not get the flag out of the base.  they had amazing cover all around the base so that they knew where we were coming from at all times.  There was one particular instance where Compton was in the ghost boosting towards Kingpin, and Kingpin launched a rocket which missed, so Kingpin merely jumped and spun 180 degrees in the air and noscoped Compton in the chest while simultaneously shattering the ghosts tank.  We knew right then that things were looking bleak.

Final Score: Junkies 1 O7AH 0.  Junkies Wins.

Game 3:  Team Snipers on Burial Mounds.

  Game Stats

Now a little known fact is that O7AH is not really known for our Sniping in fact Steve is basically our token Sniper.  The match started off with the Junkies located over by the Covenant sniper spawn.  We started by the generators.  We were quickly cut down from there and then we got to enjoy a prompt 15 spawn kills.  It really sucked at the time but now it is pretty comical.  You see Nomar decided that moving over to the end of the ribs would be a good idea.  He figured it would get him away from the death pit.  Little did he know he forced us all to spawn there.  I would imagine that to the Junkies we looked like bowling pins all nicely lined up down there out in the open.  Steve was our best and only threat.  The rest of our team was almost 10 kills behind him!  the Junkies took the win pretty handedly in this game.

Final Score: Junkies 100 O7AH 65.  Junkies Wins.

Recap

It was fun to get a chance to play against such a formidable team.  We obviously need to work on a couple areas of our game.  The Junkies were very humble about the whole thing they made sure to say good game after every match, and they never did anything to suggest that they were anything but good sports.  Good games guys.  We will have to try this again when H3 roles around.
