This match had some problems in the beginning. T A steve L L couldn’t seem to join any of the SoL guys host and at one point had to reset his router completely to even get in the lobby. It wasn’t all bad though, we got to chat with SoL while we waited and learned about their clan. They have an extremely large member list that plays games from Halo to WoW. After a nice bit of Tea, we got everything settled and started the match.

Word got out that Midship was O7AH’s Achilles heel. We went in to this game not expecting much. I started out dying 3 times without killing anyone, and SoL took the lead early. Eventually Steve started being Steve and killing everything on the map. Enemies, teammates, insects, not even bacteria survived. It was just a brutal battle for the ball. Both teams battled hard.

Here we are again, O7AH home court CTF Terminal. We have yet to lose here but last night OcR tied us so we weren’t as confident as usual. The games played out like most others, SoL could get into our base but had a hard time getting it out. The wraith was a big problem and didn’t allow them much room to operate. On our first attempt we just sent all the vehicles to take out the wraith, which allowed our second attack to move the flag easily. SoL had a much better second round. They caught me leaving the safety of the rock with the wraith and ended my run with some rockets. They moved the flag to the court yard and into their base. Unfortunately Compton and I beat them there and after a brief battle they weren’t able to score. It was a tuff break.

  Slayer on Lockout

One of the more odd games of Lockout we have played. Instead of implementing a standard strategy we tried to just suffocate SoL wherever they were. Nomar and I were running at them in the beginning in a bull rush style that was leaving lots of people, including ourselves dead Eventually we set up in the BR tower and held there.

These games were a lot of fun. So far we haven’t had any bad experience with this tournament. SoL was honestly some of the coolest guys I have met in this event. Hope we can get some more games with them soon.
